DELIVERY INFORMATION

 

 

  • Due to the Large volumes of home deliveries being made by couriers throughout the U.K. Some deliveries are taking up to 2 days to reach their destination.
  • You can add a delivery instruction at the time of ordering to leave your order in a safe place, for example at your back door, Porch, with a  neighbour etc.
  • We cannot add or amend delivery instructions once your order has been despatched.
  • Drivers will NOT request a signature on delivery, but will ask for the recipient's name and include this on the delivery record.
  • If no one is available the order will be left in a safe place if available.
  • A proof of delivery photograph will be taken where possible.
  • If you are awaiting a delivery please check to see if the parcel has been left in a safe place.

     

Minimum order value

Our minimum order value is £10 before carriage.
To checkout, please ensure your cart contains goods worth £40 or more.

Delivery Times & Tracking


Deliveries will be made between Tuesday and Friday each week during what are deemed to be normal working hours except at peak periods.
The driver will leave the order in a safe place or you can add a delivery instruction when you place your order.
Please note we cannot offer weekend or Monday delivery.

Please note that you will need your Consignment Number which we can provide and your postcode.
If you provide a mobile phone number when you place your order, you will receive the tracking information by text.

If you do not receive a text, please email us at contact@theoystershed.com or telephone 01478 503141 to request your consignment number which will be available on the day we send your order.

Special Occasions & Anniversaries

If you are ordering for a special event or anniversary, please do NOT arrange your delivery for the same day as we cannot guarantee that your order will arrive on the requested date. If you require advice on the shelf life or storage of our products, please contact us and we can help you so that you can ensure you receive your produce in the best condition and in good time.


Mainland UK Delivery Charges

Carriage cost for all UK orders is will depend on the weight of the order and is calculated by Royal Mail at checkout.  


Please note that deliveries to certain postcodes including the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands may take between 2 and 5 days.

 

When purchasing perishable goods for these areas, unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for orders that take longer to deliver than our standard overnight service. In the event of delays in deliveries to these areas we are unable to offer free replacements or refunds.

Overseas Deliveries including the E.U.  For Perishable

At present we are unable to offer overseas and EU deliveries, as delivery is taking considerably longer than we would hope and is unsuitable for perishable items.    We apologise for being unable to offer this service.

 

The Oyster Shed Gift Vouchers

Our gift vouchers do not expire and can only be used online and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.   Vouchers will be emailed electronically to you after purchase.
